Comments: Students discuss the history of immigration laws in the U.S. and examine the various waves of immigrants who came to the U.S. Discussion covers the reasons why some immigrants came to the U.S. and how they reacted to American culture upon arriving. The lesson ends with a focus on the impact of increasing diversity in our current and future workforce.
