Comments: Focuses on Arab Americans - a group that is a virtual enigma in our society. The lesson discusses how Arab Americans have become the new ethnic “villains” in our media and folk knowledge, while very little is actually known about the contributions and history of the varied groups lumped under this category. Video inserts and guests include: Dr. Jack Shaheen, a consultant on the media images and portrayals of Arabs and Rafeeqjaber, President of the Islamic Association for Palastine.
