An exhibition of 12 life-sized 'ungendered' figures by Icelandic artist Steinunn Thoraqinsdotur entitled Horizons arrived at the Nathan Manilow Sculpture Park in July 2009. These cast iron figures present themes of loneliness and isolation with a trhread of hope implied by a simple piece of sea-colored glass. Hear the story behind their creation from the women who has poured her heart and soul into their birth. Steinunn Thorarinsdottir shares her stories, thoughts, and insights with Director and Curator Geoffrey Bates.
